Positive and negative feedback from students in two classes that made use of the simulation was nearly evenly
divided. 32% felt strongly that the software enhanced the learning experience. 29% felt strongly that the software detracted from their learning. The remainder fell somewhere in the middle. Following this feedback I made the use of the software optional in the course and subsequent evaluations have been almost entirely positive.
