E. Examples of concrete changes in activities and practices include, but are not
limited to: changes in student behavior resulting from their understand of the First
Amendment and the way in which our classrooms are organized and what is
taught in those classrooms. This is all being documented through our evaluation
measures.
Section II: Outcomes and Methods
A. Participants will learn how to integrate basic elements of our Democracy into the
preparation of teachers. They will see tangible, replicable models that they can
implement in their own SCDEs. These models will also illustrate the way in
which partnerships play an integral role in this work.
B. The methods used for sharing this information are limited by the 20-minute
timeframe. We will use, a PowerPoint presentation, handouts and a short Q&A.
