Locate two or three surveys (post the URL) related to the upcoming NYC elections, and utilizing what you have learned from Public Affairs and research methodology in Psychology, critically evaluate the questions and potential biases. 2. Knowing that immigrants did not receive First Amendment protections under the Supreme Courts recent findings, relate that experience to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. 3. Drawing from your psychology an public affairs classes, why would you vote or not vote? 4. Utilizing what you’ve learned in your psychology classes about personality types, discuss which types of people are more likely to participate in a social protest, a letter writing campaign and subversion. 5. Are drugs a crime problem or a mental health problem? Does it matter if you live in the United States or in another country in determining your answer? 6. Please answer one of these two questions: A) Apply your understanding of Industrial organizational and health psychology, please comment on McDonalds Corporation as portrayed in Fast Food Nation. B) After reading the Robert Reich book Locked in the Cabinet, comment on how increasing levels of stress affects ones ability to make decisions. 7. Post two questions linking the contents of the Introduction to Psychology course and the Public Affairs course for next year’s freshmen. Also, give suggestions and comments about your ‘bloc-ed’ experience between these two classes.
