Abstract:
|
This essay sets out Slavoj Zizek's critique of democracy. It considers his account of democracy as an empty place stained by enjoyment. It compares his recent work to that of Deleuzians such as William Connolly and Hardt and Negri, showing how Zizek disagrees with them in three areas: multiculturalism, universality, and the act. |
