Faith-based Groups for Immigrants and Democracy

In general, an organization that takes on more secular, problem-solvingactivities better promotes democracy than those that concentrate on religious and culturalones. Conclusion The prevailing idea that Catholicism and Muslim do not promote democratic institutions and processes because of their anti-democratic religious doctrine isquestionable. Similarly, it is premature to conclude that Protestants with their Calvinistvoluntarism values tend to promote democracy more than other religious groups.
