This paper describes the purposes and methods of the Military and Domestic Civilian Attitudes Project (MADCAP). MADCAP is designed to update and integrate two previous surveys of military and civilian personnel in order to provide continuity to these valuable resources. MADCAP also extends and adapts these previous efforts to contemporary issues. This paper discusses the purposes of the project, details the samples surveyed, the questions asked, response rates, and other technical matters. |
