Abstract:
|
A critique of how Western engagement in Balkan politics has reflected a postmodern security approach which inverses Clausewitz and sees politics as the continuation of war by other means, creating a framework of spaces for autonomy and the recognition of identity but undermining any link between elected representatives and the citizens of Bosnia at the same time as providing legitimacy for the unaccountable powers of international bureaucrats. |
