learn from other subjects where simulation and role-play is a more established part of the
curriculum, such as mooting in law. As I have indicated, simulations are just one way of
developing experiential learning and innovation. I just happen to have found them the
most effective and enjoyable form of teaching I have engaged in across the twenty years I
have been involved in this profession.
