The political, linguistic, cultural and legal differences between the United States and France, who must cooperate internationally in the suppression of child pornography makes this study significant. Before we discuss the laws of the United States and France, it would be interesting to see how child pornography is regulated at the international, multi-lateral level. Regulation of child pornography at the Multilateral or international level. The multilateralist model is an internationalist regulatory model based on the principle of political, economic technological and cultural cooperation among multiple nations and regions of the world for the promotion of their mutual interests. The multilateralist model is anchored on treaties. These are international agreements, conventions, protocols, declarations, charters, and so on, concluded by nation-states under international law. Most countries of the world participate, adhere or subscribe to these agreements either as individual nation-states or within the framework of international of regional international or intergovernmental economic or political groupings. Intergovernmental groupings include the European Union (EU), the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
