It’s obvious the majority of these countries are from the third world. Compared with foreign news, People’s Daily does have different media agenda when portrayed outside world as an observer or as a participant. This finding reinforces Chang’s study of international news reporting in CCTV (Chang, T.K. & Chen, Y.2000). Details of those different geographic origin focuses are illustrated from Chart. 3.
