Organization B – A citizen-based organization in Boston, it is dedicated to protecting the air, water and land of the commonwealth of Massachusetts. Founded in 1899, the group represents over 50 environmental organizations through its activist and legislative lobbying efforts. Organization C – Founded in 1986, it pledges to restore Boston Harbor and Massachusetts Bay and protect them for future generations. The advocacy group uses education, public forums, outreach efforts and youth programs to accomplish their mission. Organization D – A coalition of leading environmental organizations, it focuses on protecting and preserving natural resources and public health. Established in 1992, the agency concentrates much of its efforts on promoting environmental philanthropy, clean energy, and outdoor recreation. Organization E – One of the oldest watershed associations in the country, it was founded in 1965 to protect and enhance the health and beauty of the Charles River and its tributaries. The group has spearheaded major clean-up efforts and expanded public access to the river and surrounding parklands. Organization F – It promotes the Jewish imperative to steward the earth through advocacy, education, and outreach. The group has partnerships across all faiths and denominations in its quest as a positive force for social and environmental change.
