Abstract:

Simulations provide a means for helping students step outside of themselves and gain an appreciation for the perspectives of others in situations that demand cooperation if a positive outcome is to be realized. This paper reports on an upper level political science course in which students engage in a series of simulations focusing on international bargaining and negotiations.
