Abstract:

The ubiquitous growth of teacher preparation programs has provided opportunities for teacher educators to transition their instructional practice between online and face-to-face modalities. In order to continue to address the phenomenon of how teaching online influences faculty's face-to-face teaching, Kearns (2016) recommended researchers continue to ask questions about "the kind of changes [higher education faculty] make to improve their teaching and the ways in which they innovate across multiple teaching formats" (pg. 76).
