Stakeholder Influence on Alternative Licensure Teacher Candidates

Abstract | Word Stems | Keywords | Association | Citation | Similar Titles

Abstract:

As alternative routes to teacher licensure increase, one nontraditional teacher licensure looks to involve a variety of stakeholders in the professional learning and development of graduate-level alternative licensure teacher candidates. Join us to hear from teacher candidates as they reflect on the impact of learning from education stakeholders: administrators, teacher leaders, paraprofessionals, families, and other novice educators. The presenters also share how their research on the role of stakeholders in the education of alternative licensure teachers has helped raise awareness of the need for community-based participatory research to document stakeholder-university partnerships.
