The presenter will explain how The Intercultural Development Inventory, a tool designed to assess intercultural sensitivity (Bennett & Hammer, 1998), can be used in the context of teacher education programs to raise pre-service teachers' awareness of the importance of modeling an ethnorelative worldview and planning activities that foster intercultural competence.
