Abstract:

This presentation aims to elicit discussion about field experiences in Teacher Education programs. As a response to ACTFL/NCATE standards, more field experiences are required. An innovative field experience approach based on a community composed of mentors, candidates, and professors working together to guide student teachers in the act of teaching languages will be described. Activities and materials will be shared.
