Abstract:

This study proposes a model to embark a dimensional analysis for teacher dispositions and proposes a confirmatory factor analytic model as the starting place for such efforts. Using both an assessment tool that is designed to assess and examine the degree to which future teachers are disposed toward technology in educational settings and a large-scale nationally representative data set, exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were conducted to examine and validate the underlying dimensionality of disposition as well as the causality among the constructs of the disposition.
