This paper considers how Heidegger deconstructed the synthesis of Athens and Jerusalem, principally in his Introduction to Metaphysics.. It focuses on how Voegeline reconstructed the synthesis. The paper investigates key correspondece between Voegelin and Strauss bearing upon the question of the synthesis of Athens and Jerusalem. |
