Abstract:

This research provides evidence for gains from explicit training of phonetic aspect of the Korean sound system. Empirical data are collected on the ear-training of the minimal-trio consonants. The results support the hypothesis, explicit phonetic training of the consonants contributes to improvement in listening comprehension ability among beginner level students. |
