This paper tries to contrastively analyze the managements of cohesive devices by Chinese Heritage Learners and Non-Heritage Learners based on Halliday and Hasan’s (1976) taxonomies of cohesive devices (reference, substitution, Ellipsis, Conjunction and Lexical cohesion). |

| Cohesive Devices Management by Chinese Heritage Learners and Non-heritage Learners This project tries to contrastively analyze the managements of cohesive devices by Chinese Heritage Learners (CHLs) and Non-Heritage Learners (CNHLs) based on Halliday and Hasan’s (1976) taxonomies of cohesive devices (reference substitution Ellipsis Conjunction and Lexical cohesion).
