Products of Teaching: • Some portfolios include samples of students work in relation to the syllabi included. • Testimonials from the employer’s of former students, or testimonials from internship supervisors. • Honors or other recognition such as teaching awards or nominations for awards. • Documentation of teaching development activities, and that could include activities such as conferences, workshops on teaching and/or research. My portfolio had eleven elements to it and they were: • A preface • Teaching responsibilities • Teaching philosophy • Implementation of the philosophy • Evaluations of teaching effectiveness • Teaching awards/commendations • Course syllabi • Teaching outcomes 6
