SCORING RUBRIC: HOW-TO PRESENTATIONS (20)
The how-to presentation provides the student the opportunity to explain a principle, concept, or
application used in designing and developing student original research. Each student is
encouraged to select topics that directly relate to those concepts, applications, and challenges
present in his/her research for the term. Students may use Power Point or any similar software
program to develop 4-8 slides that outline a topic. Each presentation will be scored by the faculty
member, but can be used by students as well. The critiques can be credited toward student grades.
This rubric can be adjusted for other peer critiques of chapters as well.
