These results show high results in a ll categories. Question twelve asked: What is the most important thing that you feel that you gained from this experience and why? Comments include the need to work on a topic from several angels, confidence in oneself, time allocation, the re-write process, being able to reach out to the community, and the chance to explore career choices. Perhaps most prominent was the issue of self-confidence. As one student stated, it was “the self confidence of knowing that I can.” This point begs the question of who these students are. Table 6 below provides gender and racial backgrounds of the students: 13
