Companies that work in competitive markets are constantly looking for advantageous positions in the market. To achieve such goals, it is important to choose the correct strategies. Among the options, two strategies can be emphasized: cost leadership and product differentiation. Technological innovation represents an important tool for the companies to choose and implement the most appropriate strategy and achieve the desired sustained competitive advantages. This paper reports the results of a research conducted on the eventual relationship between technological innovation and sustained competitive advantages in the Brazilian cellular telephone market. |
