Interaction in Mandarin Chinese: Pedagogical implications for teaching CFL

Abstract | Word Stems | Keywords | Association | Citation | Similar Titles

Abstract:

This study investigates adult Mandarin Chinese speakers’ interaction in social activities in Mainland China. It disconfirms a few previous studies. It may help raise CFL teachers’ awareness of pragmatic differences between L1 Chinese speakers and L1 English speakers. Collected data can inform TCFL with authentic evidence.
