Abstract | Word Stems | Keywords | Association | Citation | Similar Titles

Abstract:

Previous studies of cultural psychology indicate that people in Chinese culture tend to see themselves as part of a social relationship. This paper examines how Chinese people present such an interdependent tendency during first meetings; and how Chinese instructors can help construct the interdependent self through the pedagogy of first meetings.
