Abstract:

The crucial role of study abroad experiences in developing linguistic and cultural competencies cannot be overemphasized. However, attitudes and motivations towards language also play an important role. This study focuses on attitudes and motivations towards language learning, in order to highlight an equally important aspect of abroad experiences.
