Abstract:

This paper examines current AP Chinese Exam credit policies across the University of California system and reports on the findings of a correlation study between studentsÂ’ AP Chinese Exam scores and the results of their campus-based Chinese placement test at University of California, Irvine. Problems and suggestions will be discussed.
