Abstract:

Eustache de Refuge published "The Treatise on the Court" in 1615. The first Italian translation was produced by Girolamo Canini in 1621, in which he added logic diagrams, an innovative method of summarizing the behavioral approach of De Refuge and two other authors of classic courtesy books: Castiglione and Grimaldi.
