The following scheme generalizes the possible work structure of the network for intercultural
dialogue and education:
Inner national activities
International activities
The secretariat of the network for intercultural dialogue and education:
•
coordinates work within the network and on regional and international level
•
provides for exchange of information between partners, countries, projects and society
•
gives help to the representatives from the countries and serves for the intercultural
dialogue affords within EU.
•
commits itself into raising funds for the network
•
secures connection with international agencies and donors.
National under-regional activities are independent, no matter of their concrete country. The
whole structure is free and is based on local initiatives. It helps cooperating and spreading
information between national centers (the constant members of the network). Offered activities
can be divided into three main categories:
1. Exchange – exchange of information
2. Defense
3. Working groups/specialized personnel
The goal of this project is the creation of a complete and comprehensive joint attempt for
intercultural education, as well as for politics and programs, which help the development of
university education, through elaboration and management of a regional network: Bulgaria-
Turkey.
The three ideas will stimulate the transition of the educational establishments (university
education in this case) of Turkey towards decentralization, deinstitutionalization and
diversification. These are the key principles for the achievement of the goals and for the
elaboration of flexible educational systems, which answer the needs of the students and the
lecturers from the countries.
Main criteria for the choice of the lecturers:

Competence in the matter,
•
Cognitive motivation for intercultural dialogue,
•
Theoretical and practical experience in intercultural education,
•
Number and Quality of Publications,
•
Only academy rank lecturers with doctorate thesis or publications in the field of
intercultural education will be selected.
Main criteria for the choice of students from the above listed faculties are:
•
Participation of the students in discussions and conferences, focused on education in
intercultural dialogue and collaboration;
•
Preparation of presentations and essays on European educational values;
