of developing their own projects for intercultural education in respect of the European
commission for education and culture’s activity.

The centers for intercultural education will be made popular in the national networks of
school and kindergartens in both countries. The website, serving as information and
recourse center is to be used for this purpose.

The technology used for developing the syllabuses in the universities will be used as a
module in thematic and qualification plan.

from the partners in the expert pedagogical activity.

Changing attitude of students and lecturers towards xenophobia, through building of
pedagogical system for training of adult people.

Expected Results:
•
Rising the students’ understanding of cultural specifics of Turkey and EU and their impact
on the higher education in the light of EU’s policies in the field of intercultural exchange;
•
The pedagogical departments at the Universities will gain sufficient experience in
preparation and implementation of intercultural projects, namely projects administered by
the European Agency for Education and Culture.
•
The projects’ technology will be coded in educational programs at the 2 universities, thus
contributing to the sustainability of the project.
•
Changing the students’ and teachers’ attitude towards denial acts of xenophobia and
racism, through approbation of common values based on intercultural learning.
•
Raising the amount of information provided for the Turkey’s civil society about the
benefits that the country’s accession into the EU would bring, namely paying attention to
the cultural aspects.
