Climate Change 2
Abstract
While climate change dominates much of the political discursive landscape, it is also a
topic of key narratives among people who are witnessing its effects. One such place is in
the Canadian Arctic territory of Nunavut. This study proposes to investigate narratives of
climate change among some Inuit on Baffin Island using cultural discourse analysis. This
analysis leads to findings relating these narratives of climate change to cultural premises
of personhood, identity, and dwelling.
