Abstract | Word Stems | Keywords | Association | Citation | Similar Titles

Abstract:

Recently, Bayesian data analysis became a leading methodology all over the natural sciences and economics. Contrary to previous traditional statistics, it utilizes prior information and conducts model selection rather than simple hypothesis test. This poster presentation will introduce the concepts and special characteristics of this methodology and reveal the benefits and shortcomings of using Bayesian analysis in criminology and criminal justice fields.
