Abstract:

Illustrated is one state’s effort to forge authentic partnerships between university faculty and field practitioners by establishing a collaborative learning approach to preparation programs. Interventions included updated coursework, an internship requirement, and a mentoring system. Field practitioners were challenged to think about how they might collaborate to ensure learning within rigorous preparation programs.
