Abstract | Word Stems | Keywords | Association | Citation | Similar Titles

Abstract:

This paper addresses the sources of information about scientific evidence used by law professors when teaching this topic to law students. This national study of 225 law school professors identified several factors related to the availability and content of science education for law students. Few law professors rely on scientific publications when teaching this topic. Professors used a wide variety of sources for this information, including their own publications. Professors who published in this area attended and presented in more courses and seminars on these topics. Implications of these findings for law professors and law students will be discussed.
