Abstract | Word Stems | Keywords | Association | Citation | Similar Titles

Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to pilot test Changing Lives and Changing Outcomes, an intervention specifically designed to addresses both mental illness and co-occurring criminalness in offenders suffering from severe mental illnesses (e.g., schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder). This intervention includes nine therapeutic modules shown to impact mental health or criminal justice outcomes. To pilot test the fidelity/effectiveness of the intervention, three treatment groups were facilitated with incarcerated offenders (note: one group has been completed and two groups will be complete by November of 2009). Fidelity data and pre-post intervention and pre-post treatment module data will be presented.
