Professional journalism training in Indonesia has proliferated since the fall of New Order Government. Numerous international organizations were involved in media development, particularly in improving journalism skills among media professionals. The researcher used mixed methodology—both survey and focus group discussion in order to better understand the process of training as well as changes that radio journalist’s experience. Findings suggest that most journalists adopted training and diffused the new knowledge and skills to their fellow professionals. Some of them continued to adopt while others stopped due to both internal and external challenges.
