Abstract | Word Stems | Keywords | Association | Citation | Similar Titles

Abstract:

This paper will use the insights from cultural geography, in particular Doreen Massey's concepts, to reconsider power in relation to migration and flow, of socially differentiated mobility, and of relations between communities. It will explore the ways in which such concepts as 'power geometry' might enable us refine the notion of intersubjective nature of identity formations as outlined by Taylor and further developed by Fraser, Radhakrishnan, and others.
