Abstract:

A native of Jamaica, Professor Palmer has always been devoted to writing about the Caribbean. Two of his studies, "The Modern Caribbean" and "Eric Williams & The Making of The Modern Caribbean" reveal a deep understanding of the critical historical issues that shaped various Caribbean societies.
