Abstract:

Introductory textbooks tell undergraduates what theories and findings are prioritized in the field of psychology. This talk uses quantitative and qualitative methods to determine the extent to which issues of gender and sex are discussed in modern introductory psychology textbooks, and the frameworks being used to explain these issues.
