Abstract:

Sexual minorities and token women experience higher rates of sex-based harassment than heterosexuals (Konik & Cortina, 2008). Surveying sexual minority women in three workgroups: more men, gender balanced, and more women, we find that sexual minorities experience more sex-based harassment in gender unbalanced workgroups, but not in gender balanced groups.
