Abstract | Word Stems | Keywords | Association | Citation | Similar Titles

Abstract:

We investigated the protective role of feminism against negative body image. Study objectives included (1) developing a feminist body beliefs measure and (2) examining the relations between those beliefs and body-related health. Analyses validated the new measure and supported relations among feminist beliefs, body image, and related health outcomes.
