Abstract:

1. CADER will give a brief background of the company profile, its vision and mission and their experience in professional development in Jordan. 2. CADER will describe their experience with ERSP and highlight the connections between policy (theory) and implementation (practice) and how its approach to achieve the needs and priorities of all different stakeholders. 3. CADER will explain the principles upon which the whole school professional development program was built and show how 'change' will be achieved in several areas of focus. The successes and challenges are will be discussed. The underlying theory is that if teachers and principals are empowered with the skills needed to be change agents, then a school becomes a vibrant and positive center of learning for all: students, staff, parents and the surrounding community. CADER's panel presentation covers the issue at the implementation level and describes how it reflects the policy and vision of donors and the Ministry of Education.
