Complex messages communication and international data visualization in education

Abstract | Word Stems | Keywords | Association | Citation | Similar Titles

Abstract:

Throughout time, international data in education became more and more available. It is nowadays fairly easy for the end user to be lost in an ocean of data. Combining the widening choice with inappropriate graphic visualization practices can lead to deteriorating communication of important messages and findings in education. In this session we will present how the GMR has attempted to improve its messages communication through enhanced graphic visualizations. Going through projects such as the UNESCO-DME and tools such as Tableau, Patrick Montjourides will present the experience of the GMR in data visualization during the past years.
