Publication Type: Conference Paper/Unpublished Manuscript Review Method: Peer Reviewed Abstract: Indexicality is that aspect of pragmatics that situates praxis in space-time, that in effect generates the specificity of context. Terroir is a term that has entered the English lexicon from French usage, denoting the radical locality of specific terrain that produces in certain commodities -- especially wine and water -- the localism by means of which their value is determined in commodity sourcing. |
