Abstract:

This presentation will demonstrate how to utilize a television series for the purpose of CBI. The drama series, Shika-Otoko Aoniyoshi, introduces students to an early period of Japanese history. Activities for learning content knowledge, understanding and interpreting information through context, and synthesizing information from multiple sources, will be explained.
