Abstract:

(PRESENTATION PRIZE APPLICATION)This study investigates the processes Chinese learners engage in when using Web-Based Machine Translators (WBMT), their beliefs and behaviors as they enter the process, and their awareness surrounding the resulting products. This study shows the potential pitfalls of using WBMT and provides implications/suggestions for CFL/CSL and writing classroom.
