Abstract:

This paper examines how Italian-Canadian theatre is a means to impart Italian language and culture. In particular Italian-Canadian theatre can play an important role in identifying the linguistic and communicative characteristics of how Italian Canaidians interact within their socio-cultural and linguistic environment.
