I’ll tell you a story, but I’m not sure that’s enough

Abstract:

Narrative research has grown dramatically, if not exponentially since appearing on the qualitative research horizon more than 20 years ago. Although much has been accomplished to legitimize narrative work the field is still dogged by the notion; ‘good story, but is it research’? Consequently, is it enough to just tell the story; can we trust the story?
