Abstract:

Developed by an international consortium of judicial sector agencies the IFCE has been developed to asssist judiciaries around the globe to self-assess their operations, policies, organizational strucures and develop aproaches to address performance gaps. This tool has been applied by courts in several countries and first lessons can be drawn. This presentation will discuss the experiences of various courts and the usefulness of this tool in measuring performance progress.
